🛡️

Use SEE responsibly

Fair account rules, permitted use and member support.

Our commitment to clarity. These Terms cover your use of SEE and purchases made through the platform. They do not remove your legal consumer rights. Please also read our Privacy Policy for information about your personal data.

01Welcome to SEE

These Terms of Use explain the rules for accessing SEE — Look Again, including the public website at see2.net and the members-only learning area, The Observation Lab. They apply to visitors, registered members and customers purchasing courses or digital materials.

SEE offers body-language education, situational nonverbal communication training, interactive games, quizzes, course assessments and digital reference guides. Some features are free; others require a paid entitlement.

By registering for an account or using the platform, you agree to the terms applicable to that activity. For paid purchases, the terms and product details presented at checkout form part of the purchase agreement. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

02SEE contact details

SEE — Look Again is the online learning platform at see2.net, including The Observation Lab. For service or purchase enquiries, you can contact us using the details below.

Questions can be sent to accounts@see2.net or through our contact page.

03What SEE provides

Body-language courses

Structured lessons, practice activities, module assessments and, where offered, final assessments and completion awards.

Interactive training games

Photo-based and scenario-based learning activities designed to practise interpretation of visible nonverbal cues.

Free quizzes and demos

Selected educational experiences that may be available without a paid course or materials purchase.

Digital learning materials

Downloadable guides and other reference content licensed for permitted personal use.

Product pages describe what is included, any access restrictions and the price before purchase. SEE may improve or update content, but changes to purchased digital content will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

04Registration and account security

Some features require registration, email verification and secure sign-in. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account to the extent permitted by law, but you should contact SEE promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Accounts are intended for individual use unless a product expressly allows shared or organisational access. Do not sell, transfer or share account access with others, bypass authentication or use another person's account without permission.

You can manage supported account settings through The Observation Lab. Account closure and associated personal-information requests are explained further in our Privacy Policy.

05Eligibility and responsible participation

Users must be legally able to enter into the relevant agreement. Where a minor uses SEE, appropriate parental or guardian involvement may be necessary under applicable law.

Use the platform respectfully. Avoid including private or sensitive information about other people in reflections, support messages or user-submitted material without an appropriate reason and permission.

06Free access, demos and quizzes

SEE may offer selected free quizzes, demos and introductory game access. Free availability does not automatically include paid courses, all game content, digital downloads or future premium features.

Free features may change as SEE develops, but we will not describe a paid product as free or conceal material purchase conditions. Scores and results from free activities are for educational practice and may be recorded when used through a registered account.

07Buying courses and digital materials

Before placing an order, review the product description and checkout information, including the main features, total price and applicable taxes, currency, access method, technical requirements and any access-period restrictions. Contact SEE if important information is unclear.

When a purchase succeeds, the platform associates the relevant course or material entitlement with your account. Digital access may require a compatible device, internet connection, supported browser and continued ability to sign in.

SEE uses Stripe for payment processing. Payment authorisation alone does not necessarily mean that an order is complete; the purchase is confirmed when SEE accepts it and supplies an appropriate confirmation. Please retain your confirmation for your records.

08Course access and learning progress

Purchasing a course grants access to the content specified in the offer, subject to the licence and any clearly disclosed access period. It does not transfer ownership of SEE's course text, images, assessment bank, game software or other intellectual property.

SEE may record completed lessons, assessment attempts, written responses, marks and awards so that you can resume learning and view achievements. Assessment requirements and pass thresholds are shown within the relevant course or assessment experience.

If a technical problem prevents access to something you purchased, contact SEE. We will investigate and, where required, restore access, provide an appropriate remedy or refund in line with applicable law.

09Assessments, results and certificates

Courses may include multiple-choice questions, written reflections, module assessments and final assessments. To receive a diploma or certificate, a learner must satisfy the published requirements for the relevant course.

Results and certificates reflect completion of SEE's own educational programme. They do not, by themselves, represent a regulated professional qualification, government licence, university award or external accreditation. Any external accreditation will only be claimed if actually obtained and applicable to the relevant course.

We may investigate suspected manipulation of assessment results or certificate records and correct technical errors. Legitimately earned results will not be arbitrarily changed. A certificate may be checked against genuine completion records where appropriate.

10Games, scores and leaderboards

SEE's games and quizzes are training tools. Scores, averages, achievements and leaderboard positions indicate performance within the platform's own exercises; they are not objective measures of a person's ability to know another individual's intentions.

Some member areas display a chosen public name with scores or recent activity. You are responsible for choosing a suitable public display name, and SEE may moderate names that violate these terms.

Attempts to alter game results, exploit bugs, automate fraudulent play or manipulate leaderboards may result in scores being corrected and proportionate account action.

11Downloads and permitted personal use

Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, a purchased SEE guide or other downloadable material is licensed to the purchaser for personal learning and reference. You may store and read your own lawfully obtained copy on your devices and print a reasonable personal reference copy where the file permits.

You may not resell, publicly distribute, upload for general access, sublicense, remove ownership notices, or commercially reproduce SEE's materials without written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Keep a backup of legitimately downloaded files. If a purchased file is defective or unavailable, contact SEE for assistance and any remedy required by law.

12Cancellations, refunds and digital-content rights

UK consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation right for eligible distance contracts, subject to legal exceptions. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that right can be lost once supply begins during the cancellation period only where the customer has expressly consented to immediate supply, acknowledged the loss of the cancellation right and the trader has met the applicable confirmation requirements.

Merely publishing these Terms or providing immediate access does not automatically remove cancellation rights. For digital content supplied during the cancellation period, the consent, acknowledgement and confirmation requirements described above apply.

If digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal standards, you may have rights to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These rights are separate from change-of-mind cancellation rights and cannot be excluded by these Terms.

To request cancellation, help or a refund, contact accounts@see2.net with your order reference and a short explanation. We will consider requests in accordance with applicable law and the product's disclosed terms.

13Promotions, vouchers and special access

SEE may offer discount codes, free-access vouchers or limited-time promotional offers. Any eligibility conditions, covered products, validity period, redemption limits and applicable price will be stated when an offer is issued.

Unless expressly permitted, codes are not redeemable for cash, may not be resold and may be limited to a particular account or transaction. SEE may refuse a code used fraudulently or outside its published conditions, while honouring consumers' legal rights and valid completed purchases.

Future promotional features do not become available merely because they are mentioned here; an offer exists only when SEE actually publishes or issues it.

14Acceptable use and community standards

When using SEE, you agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, impersonate or deliberately mislead other users or administrators;
  • upload unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or infringing content;
  • attempt unauthorised access to accounts, databases, course entitlements or administrative tools;
  • scrape, copy or redistribute substantial portions of SEE's content or assessment banks without permission;
  • use bots or scripts to distort scores, overwhelm the service or interfere with others;
  • circumvent purchase checks, access controls or security features.

SEE may investigate suspected breaches and take proportionate action to protect the service and other users.

15Support, account restrictions and appeals

SEE may temporarily restrict an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, fraud, security issues or a serious breach of these Terms. We aim to apply restrictions proportionately and explain material account actions where lawful and practicable.

Where available, the account-review messaging channel allows affected members to communicate with an administrator. A restriction does not automatically remove any statutory refund or consumer rights relating to purchased content.

For help or to challenge a decision, use the available account-review channel or email accounts@see2.net.

16Educational purpose and body-language interpretation

SEE teaches the observation and interpretation of nonverbal behaviour in context. Body language can have multiple explanations; a posture, gesture, expression or movement does not establish someone's private feelings, intentions, honesty or future actions with certainty.

SEE's exercises and examples are for education and practice. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, safeguarding or investigative assessment, and should not be used as the sole basis for consequential decisions about another person.

Users remain responsible for how they apply what they learn in real situations.

17Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, SEE owns or licenses the website design, branding, course materials, original text, software, games, images, quizzes, assessment questions, downloadable guides and related content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

SEE grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform and lawfully purchased materials for their stated educational purpose. Nothing in these Terms prevents uses expressly permitted by law.

If you believe material on SEE infringes your rights, contact us with sufficient information to investigate.

18Service availability and changes

SEE aims to keep its website and learning tools available, but maintenance, upgrades, hosting failures, security incidents or other technical issues may sometimes interrupt access.

We may improve games, courses, site navigation or software features over time. For paid digital content, we will respect the description and terms agreed at purchase and applicable legal protections. We will not rely on these Terms to remove core paid access arbitrarily or avoid remedies where the law requires them.

If a purchased service is materially unavailable, please contact us so we can investigate and provide the appropriate response.

19Responsibility and legal rights

We do not promise that educational outcomes, examination results or real-world interpersonal interpretations will be identical for every learner. The service is provided with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot legally be excluded under consumer legislation.

Any other limitations of responsibility will apply only to the extent permitted by law and must be interpreted fairly and transparently.

20Privacy, cookies and messages

Our Privacy Policy explains the personal information processed for accounts, courses, game scores, purchases, support and account administration. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies.

Messages sent through the website or member account may be retained for support, account administration and security purposes as described in the Privacy Policy. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information.

21Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the platform, its features or legal requirements change. The date at the top will identify the latest version.

Changes will not retrospectively take away rights under an existing purchase agreement. Where a material change affects an ongoing paid service, we will provide appropriate information and any rights required by law.

22Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are intended to operate under the laws of England and Wales, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence. If you live elsewhere in the UK or another jurisdiction, you may have additional mandatory rights.

If a concern arises, please contact SEE first so we can attempt to resolve it. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from pursuing statutory remedies or bringing proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
